English: Jack Dempsey Falling Step Jab in 100 fps slow motion to 65 kg heavy bag and other punches to same and 50 kg heavy bag video analysis supplemented with wrist velocity measurement by accelerometers. Idea of the punch is to have weight on front leg and step forward dropping weight toward ground (Instead back – front leg weight transfer.) and using earth gravity to greatly increase the punch momentum. In essence controlled fall. First punch hits and weight falls on the boxing glove.
Also rapid combo, five hits in 0.760 second, studying adding hand speed by shortening the refractionary period between punch landing and another one commited. If 25 frames per second, punch impact and new one starting one frame which 100/25 = 4/100 of second.
