Deletion of redirects

Hi, My-wiki-photos! If you nominate redirects for deletion, please add speedydelete tag before redirect, not after. If the tag is added after redirect, then wiki software thinks, that you want to delete whole file. Experience is needed to understand, that only redirect must be deleted. This issue with deleting the images from Bosnia and Herzegovina was already discussed before with respect to Wikimedia Commons incorrect interpretation of the copyright law in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As I mentioned numerous times before, Wikimedia Commons has interpreted the Copyright Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina incorrectly when it comes to Freedom of Panorama. In Bosnia and Herzegovina there is Freedom of Panorama. Google has interpreted the same law correctly, and that's why Google Street View is available in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Legal clarification of Article 52 which deals with the use of works permanently located in public places. Here’s a breakdown:

1. Free Use: Works that are permanently located in public places such as squares, parks, or streets can be freely used and accessed by the public.

2. Restrictions on Three-Dimensional Reproductions:

- No Three-Dimensional Reproductions: While these works can be freely viewed, they cannot be reproduced in three-dimensional form.

- No Economic Advantage from Reproductions: Any reproduction of these works in three-dimensional form must not be used for economic gain.

3. Attribution: If the work includes information about its source and authorship, that information must be provided when the work is used.

So, while you can view and interact with public works, creating three-dimensional copies of them for commercial purposes is prohibited, and proper attribution is required if applicable information is displayed. Therefore there is FOP in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Hey, I am currently sorting photos related to Category:Rolling stock of Via Rail. I saw there's two similar categories (F40PH-2 locomotives and F40PH-3 locomotives). According to w:List_of_Via_Rail_rolling_stock#Current and VIA Rail's website all 53 locomotives are "-2", and no such thing of a "-3". I only ask since you created the category, perhaps you had more insight on this locomotive designation? Just curious and want to avoid any pointless edit wars. Thanks! Hi, there are references to GMD F40PH-3 on the internet. My understanding is that GMD F40PH-3 is a rebuilt engine. A key upgrade in the F40PH-3 rebuild was the addition of a separate, constant-running HEP generator, which increased efficiency and freed up the main engine for traction power. Hello, a colleague would like to use the image for a publication Handbook of the History of Southeast Europe https://leibniz-ios.de/en/ios-publications/standard-works/handbuch-zur-geschichte-suedosteuropas. I do not know specific details, except that the photographs in that series were taken ~100 years ago as a promotional material. Their copyright has expired, so they are now in the public domain. Hi there. I noticed that you created Category:Bus transport in Brampton, Ontario, moved all content from Category:Bus transport in Brampton, then requested deletion of the latter. The rename is fine, but instead of creating a new category, please use the 'move' function. In addition to preserving edit history (not too big a deal), it also ensures that anyone who has the category (or file, etc.) on their watchlist will retain the new category on their watchlist (more important). I found this rename by sheer chance, and if I had not, I would be unaware of any changes (such as vandalism) to the category in the future. (Yes, the deletion shows up on my watchlist, but I have so many items on my watchlist that entries drop off quite quickly.) This isn't the first times this has happened, as I've noticed I have about a dozen redlink categories I know I had created at some point (and found about a dozen similar ones you created).
